Guild Description

The September Movement is a guild that was founded on the principles of friendship, assisting one's guild mates, and just plain having a good time in the World of Warcraft. Some of us have children, some of us are children; members stem from all walks of life - from High School to Engineering, across borders and thousands of miles, but all of us hope to be welcoming and helpful, while maintaining a competitive, friendly gaming environment. Our members are expected to uphold the same principles that brought the guild together, and in doing so make the WoW experience great for us all. We hope to see you in-game!

Guild Vision

Recognizing that with growth comes change, we aim to have a casual PVE/PVP levelling & raiding guild, one that is home to close friendships, and also helps players reach their in-game goals. Currently, through recruitment and levelling our members, we have begun end-game raiding and made PVP teams for Arenas. That said, we want to always be available to help the new and intermediate players that join us, and believe that there is no rush to achieve 70 or find the best gear, and that the social and fun aspects of the game are equally if not more important.

Guild Principles
  1. Friendship - We get to know one another, care about each other, help each other, and stand by each other.
  2. Fairness - We strive to treat all members equally, and ranks reflect an individual's time, effort and committment given to the guild. Resources and attention are available to everyone, not just a select few.
  3. Tolerance and Respect - Not everyone will be best friends, and everyone has different priorities and play styles. Disagreements and misunderstandings happen, and being polite and accepting of other people (especially when you don't agree) is of prime importance to us. What we won't tolerate is harrassment, ridicule, stalking, or other antisocial behavior - those things negatively affect the entire guild.
  4. Patience and Understanding - Any worthwhile goals take time to reach. We all have work or school, families, and other real-life responsibilities, and though we encourage committment to the guild and helping each other, sometimes WoW must take a back seat. While we offer help to new and lower level players, everyone is here to play for themselves, too - we are not a power-levelling service; while we intend to raid, we won't become a raid-only guild, nor demand attendance.
  5. Personal Responsibility and Honesty - We are all responsible for our own feelings and actions - ie, I got angry, not, someone made me angry. Be proud of what you know and do, but be equally willing to admit your mistakes, learn from them, and move on. Trust is harder to rebuild than admitting an error in judgment is.
Guild Resources

At this time we have a 5-tab Guild Bank, this site, including the forums, image and file gallery, calendar, etc, a dedicated Ventrillo server and the support and experience of our members, many of whom have alts at varying levels. We use Omen & KLHThreatMeter, and Deadly Boss Mods for Raid management.

Long live The Movement!
